It can also be adjusted up and down to place the centers of the lenses vertically in line with the patient’s pupil.

The temple pieces of trial lens set have adjusting knobs that adjust their angle with respect to the frame. The length of the temple pieces can also be adjusted to the position of the patient’s ears after the eye distance has been set.
